Debt collectors illegally hound people who don't owe money

Scarily enough, in Colorado it’s not uncommon for a failure to appear in court even for a traffic violation to result in an arrest warrant.

I suspect the reasoning is to protect patient privacy, so caller ID doesn’t indicate to whoever might be around that someone is seeking possibly stigmatized care.

Yeah, except that sometimes caller ID will show the number, without a name. They could easily do that. The NYT’s phone number consisted of all ones on the ID with no name.

I’d be surprised if it’s anything more than that’s how every phone system like that works.
