I’m looking forward to reading this with undivided attention. I recently learned that two of my grandmother’s uncles, two brothers, died in WWI while serving for Britain. One is buried in Belgium and the other in France.

Imagine walking down a street in Paris one morning, stumbling upon a rubbish heap…

This hasn’t happened to me in a very long time, but I can imagine it clearly.
