Actually, this book is about LA’s seedy history. From the headline, people are going to expect a focus on movie stars, film directors & studio moguls.
From the looks of it, this appears to be mainly about the glorification of the abuse of women. Can’t say I’m interested. The bruises and near-strangulation made me cringe.
