Am I the only one who reacted to the headline with “why, was he broken?” or “How did you get him through the scanner?”
This was a cool story, and the ending was cool. A good listen.
I’m a Sagan fanboy, a lot of what David Morgan said about watching Cosmos in the early 80s, when it was first broadcast, applies to me too. Though I didn’t go the route of becoming a high energy physics theorist.
