It’s interesting to note that this non-profit has already made an impact in Israel. The national media groups were the first consumers of the data that was made available to the public, using the data to expose possible corruption, scandals, hidden agendas, and more. I also really like their “Open Budget” project, which uses beautiful data visualization techniques to show citizens where their tax money is being spent.
