Tor Browser goes 4.0

Is the US DOD still developing TOR, while simultaneously working to weaken it?

DOD and NSA are known for trolling their lame “ideas” to crypto people. But since TOR is open-source, I can’t suppose how it would be subverted from the inside without replacing those who have been developing it. Although I am sure they are trying to circumvent it somehow, as they have been.

Anybody want to audit the source?

Actually I do think it’s secure, just amused by how the right hand is at odds with the left. Also, I think what brought down Silk Road wasn’t a flaw in TOR but a Javascript exploit. Oddly, after that, the next TOR update set the default Javascript=on.
