The thing reads like a bit of a puff piece. The straw man is âtechnies donât want to work with the defense agency!â Thatâs not really true. What IS true is that theyâve learned they canât TRUST the defense agency to not be utterly awful. Thatâs an appropriate response. Itâs on the governmentâs head to make the appropriate steps to regain that trust. And a shiny new building in silicon valley shouldnât be it, because thatâs not a real change in behavior, itâs just a dozen roses from that douchebag thatâs been banging your sister. He hasnât even promised to stop doing the awful thing.
