Science disagrees. Expert wine tasters fail every double blinded test they have been given (which is not many, because people want the fiction of it all). In one well controlled trial, experts couldn’t even tell red from white. Wine tasting is about 90% bullshit. People enjoy it and that’s fine, no judgement here. But people should realize that it is a collective fiction more related to the experience you’re having that day than any chemical properties of the beverage.

Yeah, these were the days when a Laptop cost the same as 2 desktops.
