I’m curious about how well sintered titanium stands up to repeated stress. I hope they put as much effort into durability testing as they did design.

The keyword here is “design”. This is just a thought experiment, not a real project.

I think the prototype wearer is doing the longer-term testing. Which makes sense, costs-wise. The web-like design looks like it contains sufficient redundancy in case of individual link failures, so no risk of faceplanting in case of a single fatigue crack, and these can be discovered by simple inspection.
I am a BKA and am very curious to cost and durability. I drive a tractor trailer that has a very stiff clutch and am a avid outdoorsman. My current carbon leg restricts me to my water activities and would love to know more!
