Brett Loudermilk? I think you mean Clay Loudermilk who was the protagonist of “Like a Velvet Glove Cast in Iron.” Enid Coleslaw was the protagonist of “Ghost World.”

I’m a little surprised no one asked him why we can’t just have a digital release of his work while he is still alive. I really don’t want the extra paper in my life, so I feel like I’ve been “forced to pirate.” (OK not really, but I do like his work but I don’t like paper)
