I’d like it if it was easier to convince Android it was no longer a cell
phone and it didn’t keep trying to flip back to that mode. Same for
iPhones, maybe even an iPod mode.
Meh, I think smartphones can be useful if you use them right.
I have one of those cheap “unlimited” plans - 2GB of high speed then I get knocked down to 3G.
It’s enough data to pull down directions or look up restraunts and text on Signal, but forces me to stay off Twitter and Reddit. It’s a good happy medium.
To keep myself occupied when out of the house I load it up with podcasts instead.
That’s pretty much what I’ve got… I’ve never gone over the limit; I think I’m on wifi enough that I don’t use up the mobile data.
