Very few people know that 8 Mile was originally written as a ballet.

There’s an entire cover album of Eminem songs done in a lounge style called Lounge Tribute to Eminem: Chocolate on the Inside by Lounge Brigade. That album predates 8 Mile but I imagine this would have been right at home there.

In a sense. But it’s also one of the most challenging dance styles and to be able to dance the tango that well is almost like a new form of communication. It’s really, really difficult, but when you can pull it off, there’s no other feeling like it in the world.
