A weed is killing lakes in Texas, so they've imported a bug to eat the weed

This is how we ended up with cane toads. Have you been sprayed by a cane toad? Because I have and it is most unpleasant.

Here in the UK, rotenone is the recommended method for killing introduced fish to allow native newt populations to recover.
