Have you not noticed that for certain subjects, the english version is the stub, and the versions in other languages are far more useful?

Especially content that’s popular in other regions but is niche to English speakers. Things like obscure Japanese video games that never got a Western release, or some random K-pop artist of the 1990s. Good luck finding any articles on English-language Wikipedia, let alone stub content.

For any info on Scandinavian topics, especially medieval ones, I always go to German Wikipedia, which is invariably more detailed than both the English version and the ones in Scandinavian languages.

Shh! Don’t rat them out! Same goes for Czech. Czechs all actually speak Russian and/or German and/or English, but they made up this impossible pseudo-language because sometimes their neighbors are also not very nice. ;~)
(That said, I often have to get my Lowlander partner to translate the dialogue in Scottish films/TV, and Glaswegian is tough even for them.)
