I don’t even know if this would be that big a deal if the wealthy paid their fair share of taxes in the first place.

I believe it is mainly private utility commissions or those appointed by an elected mayor or governing body. The key is whtehter they are transparent or not. Most public utility commissions will fight for the public’s interest. Someone is getting big time kick backs in these deals. Amazon free shipping for life? Hmmm…
