the first question should be answered by the affected persons, the second one has in the German school system a few outlined targets in a framework regulation implemented in 1968:
* end of first grade: difference between sexes, knowledge about maternity * within the first six grades: biological basics (procreation, pregnancy, birth), effects of puberty on body and mind, menstruation and nocturnal emission * at the end of the 9th/10th grade: human procreation, pregnancy, birth; sexual issue fields of adolescents (relationship of the two sexes, (too) early intercourse, masturbation), social and legal basics (engagement, marriage, family, parental rights and duties, rights of marital and extra-marital children), ethical and legal considerations of sexuality (contraception, promiscuity, prostitution, homosexuality, rape/sex offenses, abortion, STDs) * until the end of school: more of the same, but with more details(quick and dirty translation of the original 68 pamphlet. as the school system is in the responsibility of the states the current, valid versions are slightly different in the 16 states)
iirc this was mostly taught in my school career and I think that the most important points are covered.

Nah, they’re not pedos – they want them to be through puberty (ie: have breasts and hips). They’re just really, really obsessed with making sure she’s a virgin.
There’s that horrific but telling line from Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I can’t find it on IMDB, but it’s something like “now you think most 14 year olds would be old enough to know their own mind”. Doc Golightly, an otherwise non-creepy man who’s nearly old enough to be Holly’s grandfather, is telling Paul about the night he proposed to her.
In other words, it’s that horrible old saw, “if she’s old enough to bleed, she’s old enough to breed.”
It’s kind of like how a lot of the “mail order bride” men think now. They want a wife that’s sweet, gentle, “fresh”, and obedient. They don’t give a shit if she speaks English or knows about the world like they do, because they’re not marrying her to have important conversations with.
And they want females who are not emotionally or intellectually more mature than they are, let’s not forget that point. Females they can keep under control.
I’d be curious to know what percentage of the teen-aged brides are pregnant at the wedding.
Back in the last century, most teen brides I knew were either pregnant (me!) or victims of the mindset where being A Wife And Mother was the highest thing a girl could aspire to, because You’re Nothing Without A Man. I still saw both from my daughter’s friends who got married early. I’m suspecting there’d be less of the dewy-eyed bride and more of the forced paternity nowadays.
