Just perfect. I can already imagine the arms race. Algorithmic firewalling of echo chambers.
What I would rather see is for Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook to display some actual courage and ban people and groups who intentionally peddle misinformation like Alex Jones and Info Wars. I keep hearing that they don’t want to resort to censorship. Fuck that. It’s not censorship. Well, ok, it is, but it’s not state censorship and that’s the kind that needs to never happen. Facebook is not the government. Alex Jones and Info Wars will still be able to say whatever the hell they want, if they are banned from Facebook. People have the right to free speech. They are not entitled to a megaphone.
