An old person's guide to "skibidi" and other Gen Z slang

I like to think we’re appreciated by some.

One slightly alarming trend is that I do occasionally see us getting lumped in with Boomers, but I think “Boomer” has become a catch-all for “old (according to the person speaking).” As it is, I think “Boomer” now includes everybody born between 1930 and 1990.

There’s always been an overlap. “Boomer” really describes a state of mind, one that some born after 1964 share and one that a lot of people born between approx. 1946 and 1964 never had the luxury of indulging in. Collective lived experience plays a part in defining generations, but individual lived experience can shift a person from one to another.
