Easy now. Osteopathic physicians are fully accredited, attend residency programs for training (honestly, residency and early practice is where you learn to be a doctor, not med school. That’s where you learn how to learn to be a doctor.) Some of the best pediatricians I have been associated with have been DO’s (Hi Norm!)

My bad. Checking Wikipedia, I see that osteopathic physicians exist in the US and Canada. They are distinct from osteopaths, which are not considered medical doctors in the rest of the world.
