Except the Pebble already does some fitness monitoring. At least as much as the Fitbit Flex does (steps + sleep).

When I read about this on BoingBoing a few months ago, it seemed so hopeless as to not even be worth bothering with.
Do we have a designated Apple Watch Guinea Pig-- someone who can confirm or deny all this speculation?
I mean, if Apple Watch works in Workout Mode, what’s the problem?
Well then, the matter is settled. The Apple Watch is a pretty good Pebble.
