My high school was kitted out with all IBMs during the days of HyperCard, so I did similar work with LinkWay Hypermedia, IBM’s clone. Very similar but much less capable, with none of the plugins that made HyperCard so capable. But I remember building interactive “presentations” about the Civil War and classical music, as well as a ridiculous and goofy game based on the Life in Hell comics. It was good training for building websites ten years later.
