NPR News is pretty shy of being in front of any story if “being in front of” can be interpreted as being politically correct. They haven’t gotten rid of all their liberal programming, but the for the news programs which might be heard in the darkest red twilight of Christianland, they’ve become pretty tepid and CNN-like.
