I wonder why ride sharing companies are not held to disability access rules? You know, room for wheel chairs, curb access, etc…

Not a problem, Uber will just drop another fraction of a billion Saudi dollars to hoodwink California voters into passing another irrevocable law which exempts them from pesky nannies.

Because Uber and Lyft etc. continue to pretend their drivers are independent contractors. It isn’t Uber that’s operating a fleet of vehicles that doesn’t meet those requirements, they just provide a service that matches riders to drivers
