“Carrots usually come out a bit easier than parsnips.”
Well played!
It’s a belter
I’m always on the look-out for suppliers of large carrots, beets, turnips, radishes, etc. Stuff that’s too large or grotesque for human consumption. If you know a farmer in Southern Ontario looking to get rid of the stuff they can’t sell, point them in my direction.
I’ve read that carrots from agri-business are always enormous, then the get whittled down into those “baby carrots.” I buy the ones that look like carrots, now.
Just look at it!
Sorry wrong thread…
God damn you Rice. Came here to post that.
I’ve found that the japanese grocer usually has larger carrots than a typical american super market.
Just look at it.
Came here to see an enormous carrot. Was not disappointed.
Roughly the same size as the ones they grow in Camberwell.
Ah, so this gentleman is a grower and a shower.
You’ve sent me down a rabbit hole, and I’ve spent way too much time watching this guy plant and harvest enormous onions, potatoes, and carrots that he’s disappointed in.
