I’d be curious what the incentives are: it sounds like the artist in question is not without a dubious history; and even if you don’t know or care how the sausage gets made this particular link of it just doesn’t look all that good.
Was there some sort of agreement made upfront that is relatively hard to dismiss without specific cause? No time for a redo between when they saw it and when it had to be at the printer? Guy popular with management because he passes along some amount of his willingness to take shortcuts in terms of being particularly speedy or reasonably priced or a combination of the two?

If you do, Jersey Girl is a bit underrated. It was his most PG movie. Not as bad as its reputation.
