Androids/replicants ARE robots, just very human-like ones (and possibly based on biological systems). And yes, if you fully design a human from the ground up, I feel that makes them a “robot”, as a fully-engineered entity. (No, I have no issues with the idea of sentient robots.)
Just because the bits are “squishier”, doesn’t make “biobots” less robotic.

Was there some disagreement about the word “robot”? I was pointing out the difference between a cyborg and an android.
