Isn’t that how all those “if you like that you’ll probably like this” recommendation things work? Comparing points or vectors in a higher dimensional abstract space?

We call the high-dimensional space semantic space, think of it as a multi-dimensional grid where various ideas exist at various points. In this space, similar ideas are close together.
I wonder how they took into account their own personal viewpoints, opinions, and prejudices? Has a purely objective mathematical coding of every idea ever finally been discovered?
