GirlChild is under 13, and would love more than anything to be a youtube star, or have somewhere to post whatever it is she’s doing (from showing off the cats to toys acting out scenes). You’d probably be surprised how many of her classmates have smartphones etc…
(we’re asshole parents tho, and she is phoneless and social media-less)

Same here. BoyChild is just under 13 and he might get a phone when 13, but given his attitudes toward the screens, he may be waiting longer. We don’t care how many of his peers are walking dead -like, always staring at their little screens.
