You know there are two world wars, right?
Itâs not my problem if you need everything spelled out. Think more type less maybe.
AFAIK, unlike at trial, a jury doesnât have to be unanimous to indict. Why, in this case, they didnât have the votes, thatâs fucking beyond me, though.
You know the impact of the first world war led to the conditions that made Germany ripe for WWII? Right?
Thank you for that link. Chief Flynn speaks eloquently and passionately to a very real problem.
But heâs not addressing the same problem that you are using to refute @anon15383236 .
When we consider cops gunning down young black men to be the same as criminals gunning down young black men, we conflate two distinct issues, and make it harder to solve both.
Unfortunately for your argument, itâs not cops who are gunning down all the young black men.
Ah hell, not this shit again. Yes, thanks to white supremacist neglect in so many ways of urban spaces, more black people are killed by black people than by cops.
But the issue here, Mr. Diversionary Tactics, is cops killing black people. Which happens a lot, and which is another arm of overarching white supremacy.
You should take your derailing ass over to Stormfront, where youâll be more than welcome.
If you donât see the relationship between these two problems you have your eyes shut and no imagination. These cops work in war zones. In many cases split second decisions can make the difference between going home to your family and going 8 long and 6 deep. The issues go hand in hand. The same things that cause black men to get shot cause cops to be desensitized and twitchy. Go figure.
If you donât want to make Officer Wilson the scapegoat and example for:

white supremacist neglect in so many ways of urban spaces
then you should take your diatribe somewhere else that is not about him.
Unfortunately for your argument, itâs not all violent criminals who are fully armed to the teeth that are being gunned down.
For examples:

Here we have three white guys who actively shot and killed other people, some of them law enforcement officers. These people were all arrested and not shot at 14 times.
Now do you start to see why people might be out of sorts about this business?
These cops do not
work in war zones
. That is a lie which you are taught to justify reckless overuse of violence.
The average police officer goes his entire career without ever needing to use his gun. (And most of those who do didnât need to.)
Being a cop just isnât that dangerous. (Check the actual death statistics. Theyâre public information.)
What donât you understand about this? I already said black people (especially poor black people) often receive a different justice than white people. Your two examples prove nothing. This Mike Brown case just isnât a good example to rally around. Itâs simple. Why donât you seem to be able to comprehend?
Uhmmmm⌠a war zone does not imply that only cops are dying. If the cops do not work in war zones why are so many young black men being gunned down? Are you saying cops are killing them all? Ridiculous.
Iâve lived in two of the 10 most dangerous cities in the country. I know how many people are dying.
You know the impact of decades worth of police abuse led to the conditions that made Ferguson ripe for rioting? Right?
Couldnât have said it better myself
I taunt you with my like.
Okay. What about it?
When you say âslickheadâ, do you mean âskinheadâ?
I read somewhere (might not be any of the linked articles above) that it takes 9 out of the 12 on the Grand Jury to bring an indictment; conveniently, there were 9 white and 3 black jurists.
What have I said for you to imply I am racist. What if I told you that I am neither a skinhead and that not all skinheads are racists. Who is prejudiced now?
Slickhead is a nickname given to me by my brother when I was a baby. It stuck like nicknames do.
I hate you!
Iâm trying to understand why youâre here. Itâs not to broaden understanding through persuasion. Youâve dominated in the number of replies to commenters here, speaking to each with utter contempt. So what is your purpose?
What would be the best case for everyone to rally around? Amadou Diallo? Rodney King? Akai Gurley?
Itâs simple, people arenât willing to wait for the perfect case to show that the system is shitty.
