What Ukraine is doing with drones is a low rent version of what Argentina did to the British Navy in The Falklands War. Drones being the cheap equivalent of Exocet missiles.
Very similar to how kamikazes were used in the Battle of Okinawa to keep the navy from providing support to troops.

That’s the point. Drone warfare is the modern equivalent of the mine and torpedo threat of the early 1900s to conventional navies like the RN.
