For 100 minutes, more than a million tuned into Sanders' Medicare for All town hall

I’m on the ACA, and I did get some subsidy during the recession when my income tanked. But I don’t get it now - I don’t think its unfair, but I have to note that my premium is now 200% what it was for my last policy before the ACA was set in motion. That’s not the ACA’s fault, but it points at the broken system we are living with. That burden of cost has been crippling, literally taking every last bit of savings from our income. So now we have no savings, no ability to save for bigger expenditures, and there is no sign of improvement - only increasing cost. I can’t earn my way out of this. At some point I’m going to be forced into being uninsured, or give up the roof over my head. And I know that does not end well either.

if your premium is over 8% of your income, you’re doing something wrong. Did you enroll yourself? It costs nothing to talk to an agent, although health insurance specialists are kind of rare.
