I haven’t read much by Miller since the time he wrote some interesting comics at Dark Horse (Martha Washington is really good read imo). But he really went off the rails post-9/11. He just couldn’t process a world where the US is actually the bad guy that it is rather than being one only in fiction. It’s really weird to be honest how someone can compartmentalize things.
