I grew up on Avon products…bubble bath, soap-on-a-rope, etc.

Same here, though my mom’s purchases thereof were more sporadic and far less frequent as we got older; by the time I was 15 or so, she’d pretty much stopped buying Avon all together.
Though to be fair, SkinSoSoft bug repellent still worked really well the last time I used it some years back…

And to this day I still don’t know if my mom was actually saving money, or supporting her friends.
