Keeping up with all of the slimeballs he’s exchanged “favors” with [1] over the years has to be a full-time job and not (esp after Cohen) wise to delegate. Not, I dare say, something Trump is going to be sufficiently disciplined to do.
[1] And more to the point, might be in position to hurt him in exchange for a better plea deal.

Rational, no. Self-interested, yes. If he doesn’t see any way to benefit from helping another person he won’t do it. For example, he gave out that pardon to Sheriff Joe Arpaio because he knew it would win him points with his racist base. But there aren’t enough pedophiles out there to make it worth Trump’s time to pardon George Nader, especially after Nader already betrayed Trump by cooperating with Mueller.

I can’t imagine it’s the same guy - that would mean he was consistently unable to relate to young girls, including his own children, except by talking about their sexual desirability. That would raise an enormous number of red flags that would certainly make him an unlikely presidential candidate, much less president!

How many degrees of separation between George Nader and Jeffrey Epstein and how many degrees of separation between Nader and Epstein and Marc Dutroux, the pedophile ringleader and murderer who helped bring down the Belgian government in the 1990s?
These are uncomfortable questions but they need to be asked. It seems to me that we are ruled (not governed) by monsters.
