Epic burn:

From one of the most British videos ever:

That last one is interesting, as was the viddie, but I’m still puzzled about what the gif expresses, and in what kind of situation one would use it. To express discomfort? Is she shifting that way at the thought of being hugged by him?

I think it’s open to interpretation - his confidence in the accuracy and universality of his statement contrasted with her extreme negative reaction to it? “I think I speak for all of us when I say…” I love the video though as I’m not sure which of the three presenters most perfectly embodies British awkwardness.

Yes! The body language of all four people seems rich with meaning, especially about what’s not being verbalized.

The wiggle has me wiggle giggling.

I guess it could also work with self-evidently true statements like these:

“Black lives matter? I think you mean ALL lives matter.”

“Actually, it’s about ethics in games journalism.”

“Sexism used to be really bad, it’s a good thing we’re all equal now.”

“Affirmative action is just a form of reverse racism.”

I love the phrase Reverse Racism. When used in a serious manner it is an easy and user friendly sign that you should take all opinions from said individual with a boulder of salt.

Doesn’t mean they are bad people, but it is a great indicator for lack of intellectual depth.
