This makes me sad in a way. Kittehs shouldn’t ever have this problem. We have one with an underdeveloped cerebellum and he sometimes has some problems going up or down stairs. I cringe every time I hear a crash. He’s only a year old, I dread what comes by the time he’s 10.

We used to live in a split-level ranch home with three short stairwells. The cats liked sitting atop the banister on the uppermost level, but would also relish shoving each other off when the other cat was unprepared. Many bumps in the night in that home.
