I often think that the bird mating dances work in reverse than we think they do.
Like if these were the ONLY choices you had for matesā¦ you wouldnāt be picking them because of their awesome dance skills, youād pick the one that was the least irritating, in spite of their dancing.

This makes me sad in a way. Kittehs shouldnāt ever have this problem. We have one with an underdeveloped cerebellum and he sometimes has some problems going up or down stairs. I cringe every time I hear a crash. Heās only a year old, I dread what comes by the time heās 10.

We used to live in a split-level ranch home with three short stairwells. The cats liked sitting atop the banister on the uppermost level, but would also relish shoving each other off when the other cat was unprepared. Many bumps in the night in that home.
