It irks me when companies pretend something was “well received” but then are clearly backtracking it because it was NOT well received. Just fucking own it. “Yep, we tried something new, people hated it, we’re rolling it back. My bad!”

Can’t say how many times i’ve been on this journey, where i sample other services for a few weeks and then just go back to Google, defeated…
Their encryption doesn’t enable integration of contacts with iOS, which is a major blow. Calendar on the way soon though i’m not sure of the implementation so not sure if it will integrate with iOS either. Not yet investigated shared calendars either.
It would be nice if Apple, in support of privacy, would include baked-in plugins for Protonmail.
