I wish the Haring designs were a little better incorporated — I believe you about the high-quality nature of their construction, but absent that confirmation these look like stickers slapped on generic pieces.
I wonder who gets the money from these. Is there a Haring foundation?

I’ve got a couple of Haring pieces I’d be glad to deaccession if anyone here collects: the 1982 Nuclear Disarmament poster and the 1985 ‘inflatable baby’ from his ‘pop shop.’

A friend worked at the Pop Shop in the 80s, and I picked up a bunch of stuff back then. All I have left are a shopping bag and a couple enamel pins, though.

I personally think that if you want to own a Keith Haring art piece that you can get unbreakable ones for much cheaper.
A bottle was fancy compared to an apple or an aluminium can. I saw one made out of a wet toilet roll once. Kids nowadays they don’t know https://www.gatorbeug.com/ they can even get the plastic bottle and hose attachment in glass.

That said, the chain in question (charmingly named “Quick”) was actually okay as multinational fast-food conglomerates go…

Yup. Made a pipe out of a carrot once. Kept it in the fridge to keep it nice and crisp. Probably could have gotten some serious mileage out of it too but mom found it. Almost ended up in the salad.
