So the tree is dead right? They killed a tree to paint a nice picture on it, when it was beautiful all by itself.

Could be from a diseased tree that had to come down. This way everyone can now have happy little trees on their very own part of a happy little tree.

Because of the cracks it looks like a shattered magical mirror reflecting scenery that isn’t really there.
