The only problem I have is that this is placing the blame on the interns. Until last Friday, I worked desktop support at a college campus. One of the most malware ridden people on the campus was actually the Computer Science department chair – very much not an intern. (Although to be honest, he’s about as smart as the intern depicted, so there is that.)

I worked for a tech company where it was always the CEO (an MIT grad too). He had a Macbook so he could look like the other cool kids while standing at a podium, but had Windows installed on it because he didn’t want to learn to deal with a new operating system. I think you have me beat with CS chair, aside from what I’ve seen in academic environments in general.
