I read Jordan Mechner’s development journal several years ago when he posted it online. Then he was a speaker at PAX East and I ran into him in the hallway at my hotel. Because I’d read his journals and seen him speak, I felt like I knew him well even though I didn’t and really creeped him out by staring as I worked through my cognitive dissonance.

I agree. But it does make you wonder how many other “thirty year anniversaries” they’ve had.
