Allowing your sweat to evaporate is the whole point of sweating.

A thin layer of sweat evaporates faster than dripping sweat, and it doesn’t get in your eyes either. I will continue to wipe my brow when sweating. If I’m hot, there will be more sweat coming right away anyway.

If it’s really humid, then there’s not much point in waiting for your sweat to evaporate.
