Nice lateral thinking by this guy, and great that not only was the film canister found and given to the band (who knows what was thrown on stages back then) but there was a spare 35mm camera around backstage, and the band had the goodwill to give it a go.

I’d love someone to get a comment from the band to see if they recall this and whose camera it was and who took the photos.

I’m curious as well but good on Depeche Mode for being awesome to a fan. Reminds me of a band here in Austin, i enthusiastically asked them for an autograph and the guy i talked to was so jazzed he made sure to walk me around to get signatures from the rest of the band. It was a great experience and I’ll never forget it.
