How do you design 2-sided dice that aren't flat?

Maybe the photo is tricking me, but that looks like an O that has been twisted so that from the side it looks like a Mobius strip. AFAICT, there are two sides to that die.

I prefer to roll tesseracts.

It could be 3 numbers if you count one flat and one round as #3 or, is it a re-toss? I like this.
