So the original movie while not shown the main characters did have sex with the robot saloon girls, and there was Romanworld where it was hinted that all those hedonistic pleasures of ancient Rome were to be had there. Why is everyone surprised HBO wants to get a little more explicit about it?

I recall getting a piece of apple pie there, back in the 80s. They’re probably serving the same pie these days. And yes, I mean the pies that were manufactured in the 80s. The one I ate tasted like it was about 30 years old.

Well they have something they call pie and marginally looks like pie, but what @monkeyoh said does not really taste like it.

So, the “good guy with a gun” thing…

Over the course of about 20 years, bad guys with guns have been stopped 10 times by good guys with guns. Yet, there will be at least 365 mass shootings this year and at least as many next year. Since the average is .5 saves per year, there will still be 729 mass shootings unstopped over these two years.

But guns aren’t the problem. /s

Yes, but if Americans had more guns, that might be different!

On that point, why would a ‘good guy with a gun’ proponent be against more regulation? Surely tracking gun ownership and encouraging background checks would improve the good guy:bad guy ratio?
