I bought the second installment in Neal Shusterman's Scythe series before I finished the first book

My favorite book is part one in a series of three. The author has gone on the record that the lack of success of the first part is a reason why part two hasn’t been written yet.

Everybody go out and buy Shades of Grey: The Road to High Saffron or else I’ll never be able to finish the series!
