If the FBI has a backdoor to Facebook or Apple encryption, we are less safe

The poor FBI just can’t catch a break. You people keep yelling about how security isn’t everything, and then when they make us less safe, you’re mad about that too!

Let’s test how efficient a back door can be. If the FBI can put one in their own system and have it remain for six months after they announce its presence with no problems, I’ll let them install one on my machine.

Congress’ username is “Backdoor”.

Password is “Backdoor”.

If Apple succumbs to backdooring, I’m prepared to walk away and start over with a different o/s and new hardware. I’m migrating away from Windows already, changing the destination is a reasonable choice.
