In my local parklet, there’s a utility box that’s a popular place to paste flyers. At a distance this morning, it appeared someone had hung a frame on it to legitimize this secondary function
Nope, someone had just painted it to look like a frame:
Fine by me!
Oh, wow! I didn’t know she was coming to the US. Did you take that pic/get to see in person?
Yep, down in Decatur (a small community right outside of ATL proper)… She walked around with her stuffy, and kept losing him, so walked around looking for him… They were finally reunited after she walked around to the square from the train station. They had a marching band called the Black Sheep Ensemble marching with her.
Here she is on Buford highway the other day…
Buford Highway is a corridor known for have a large immigrant population and lots of people cross all the lanes (which is insane)! It’s sort of a right of passage for some people to cross buford HWY on foot.
I was a little disappointed that they did not do an event in Clarkston, which is right next to Decatur and is the most diverse square mile in the US (there is a refufge center there).
Isn’t Buford also known for its amazing variety of international food?
Yep, that too… lots of those (generally, the best ones) are run by immigrants…
Those squirrels shall soon be conkered.
