How tall is it?
My guess, 7’-6" on a 24" pedestal? My question Is the t-rex sneaking a smaller t-rex into the airport in its suitcase?
What is LEGO up to that requires top of the line avionics?
About five feet tall I’d say.
It doesn’t seem fair to measure a Tyrannosaur’s height in hands
How many bananas is that, would you say?
anything to keep those pesky fae folk out of your garden, ¿que no?
My wife said It is a tropical snowman.
in that case, i should have recognized it immediately!
apologies to fae folk!
Clear example of enshitification.
Well, at least the store itself is more-or-less intact. I went inside looking for some random crap (success!) & it did not seem as big as the other Woolworth’s stores I remember. Not sure whether it would’ve had a lunch counter.
Around that blue/green wall on the left, is an old theater from the early 50s (the Art Deco made me think it might’ve been older than that):
(These pictures aren’t as recent as the old Woolworth’s)
After the theater closed in 1996, it had housed different churches. It just had a refurbishment but I’m not sure what the specific plan for it is, going forward. The Purple Line will (someday) run right past this shopping center (actually, underground).
