Well, at least the store itself is more-or-less intact. I went inside looking for some random crap (success!) & it did not seem as big as the other Woolworth’s stores I remember. Not sure whether it would’ve had a lunch counter.

Around that blue/green wall on the left, is an old theater from the early 50s (the Art Deco made me think it might’ve been older than that):

After the theater closed in 1996, it had housed different churches. It just had a refurbishment but I’m not sure what the specific plan for it is, going forward. The Purple Line will (someday) run right past this shopping center (actually, underground).
