I suppose that depends on the cab company in question. The local one here is pretty good about being accurate about ETA’s, and calling to give updates (they all have GPS on their cars), especially if it’s going to be late or something.

I really, really doubt that’s true. Certainly it’s not happening enough to give statistically meaningful data.

Yeah, I’ve got the same issue. Cabs generally don’t show up to my neighborhood when called. No problems with Uber, though, so it’s frustrating that they seem to be continually going out of their way to convince me not to use them.
